About James Howard Collins
Born in Brooklyn sometime in the 1960s, Collins graduated Pace University with a B.S. in Art. From 1990 to 1995, he served as a U.S. Navy photographer aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. The following decades saw him working as a photojournalist in various capacities - organizations including The Virginian-Pilot, The Associated Press and NBC News.
Collins maintains a painting studio in lower Manhattan and lives in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn.
